01 / MixRelay
MixRelay prepares the current and next tracks in the background. Rearranging what comes next does not need to interrupt the track you are playing.
Set transition timing and curves, with per-song overrides when a particular track needs a different handover.
Inspect the audio, set start and end points and refine the places where your music begins and finishes.
Use beat jumps, loops, gain, EQ and filters to shape playback. BPM and beat-grid tools help you inspect and edit track timing.
02 / MixRelay
Build a searchable library from your own audio files and folders. MixRelay supports FLAC, WAV and MP3, with wider decoding dependent on Windows codec support.
Work with multiple playlist tabs, rearrange tracks and use STOP entries and notes to organise the set.
Browse virtual folders, search metadata and use ratings and colour labels to organise your music.
Import and export M3U8 playlists, or review a text running order against your library before applying it.
Missing or unreadable tracks stay visible in the running order. Availability checks and preparation status help you see what needs attention.
The desktop preview player has its own output selection and playback controls. Route it to a separate output for cueing; MixRelay warns before previewing through the main output. The web remote can also stream a preview to your remote device while the Windows player continues the main session.
Simple and Advanced layouts share the same player, playlists and library. Both offer light and dark themes, so you can change the presentation without building another set.
These workflows are grounded in the delivered alpha development records. The first beta feature list and system requirements will be confirmed with its release. Alpha 1.25.0 is currently in development. Manual pitch-preserving tempo controls are work in progress. Automatic tempo matching and vocal-aware transitions are not released features.
Free includes the desktop app, with playlists capped at 60 minutes and a separately tracked 60-minute playback allowance. Desktop includes all desktop features with unlimited playlist duration and playback. Full adds the hosted remote, remote library access, editing and uploads.
Free and Desktop do not include remote access. Compare prices and the lifetime beta offer.
